2D Flat Dash Kits vs 3D Molded kits ?

DirectCarTrim only offers 2D Flat dash trim kits. This mean all trims pieces install over the top of the existing OEM dash and interior pieces. The dash pieces are flexible and conform to most dashes. These kits work well for flat dashes or dashes that do not have sharp corners or contours. Our kit are not intended to replace you dash  but rather enhance the appearance of your dash to give it a more modern and appealing look. 

Information about 3D Molded Dash Kits:

The 3D molded kits are normally available in an ABS material or a vacuum formed process (Real Carbon Fiber). These 3D Molded pieces are either replacement parts or 3D Caps (Cover) that will cover the complete trim pieces no matter the curvature. These kits can be costly and harder to find. Molded kits can be sometimes found through your Automotive Dealer but excepted the cost for each piece to cost $$$ specially in Real Carbon Fiber.
